SB&OH EXCHANGE ACCOMMODATORS, LLC

August 2, 2004

Dear Friends:

Can you believe it is already August?  It has been a wonderful summer but what happened to June and July?  Each only seemed to be a week long.  Those of us who have migrated to the Northwest from the North Central part of the country still think of August as being the end of summer and the end of the nice weather.  We are fortunate now to live in this glorious area where we can look forward to several more months of great weather.  Enjoy!

The summer has been most gratifying for SB&OH Exchange Accommodators.  We have exceeded all of our expectations for business growth.  The confidence you have placed in us is truly, very greatly appreciated and you can be assured we will do all in our power to continue to honor it.

Many of you participated with us in the Tacoma Pierce County Association of Realtors Golf Extravaganza this past  week at the McChord  Whispering Firs Golf Course.  For this event we shared sponsorship of the 15th Tee with the accounting firm of Johnson Stone & Pagano.  Together we offered a prize to the player whose first shot came closest to the pin.  The winner, who came within 2' 11", was Jim Dacier of Crescent Realty.  Congratulations, again, Jim.

Peter Allen, one of the SB&OH attorneys who worked the tee that day, who is an avid and accomplished golfer himself, has a most interesting true story about one of  his golfing experiences that actually made the national sporting news.  Last year in an interclub match between Fircrest Golf Club and Royal Colwood, in Victoria, B.C., Peter had a hole-in-one on the par 3 4th hole.  What makes the story amazing is that his Dad had gotten a hole-in-one on the same hole approximately 20 minutes earlier.  What makes the story even more amazing is that they both used Mizuno MP-30 7-irons, Titleist Pro V-1 golf balls with #2 on them and both shot 40-41 = 81 on the same day.  Both were 8 handicaps at the time. Their ball marks on that green were 6" apart.  Peter is quick to point out that he won his match while his Dad lost his.  They were featured in Sports Illustrated Faces in the Crowd in the September 25, 2003 issue.

Until next month - have a wonderful August!

Sincerely,
Your Friends at
