SB&OH EXCHANGE ACCOMMODATORS, LLC December 1, 2004 Dear Friends: Our buttons are popping with pride because we are so honored to work with a person like Joanne Henry. If you have not met her, Joanne is an attorney here at Sloan Bobrick Oldfield & Helsdon, P.S., and an associate of SB&OH Exchange Accommodators, LLC. Joanne and her husband, Jon Seward, have for many years been active participants in Habitat for Humanity. As you may know, Habitat for Humanity is an organization which through donation of funds and volunteer labor provides the opportunity for low income working families to own a home of their own. Families invest 500 hours of sweat equity as their down payment and Habitat sells the home to them at no profit and a 0 percent mortgage. Because volunteer labor builds the house and grants are obtained for land, a very livable yet simple home can be built for about $50,000. What an opportunity not only at this time of year but throughout the year to help folks help themselves to reach a dream. Habitat for Humanity is now nearing completion of its 100th home for a qualified low income family in Tacoma. Not only is Joanne an active worker and a practiced expert at laying tile, but she and Jon have personally donated all the funds to complete this 100th home. We are humbled by such compassion and honored to know such caring people. You can help too! Construction of house number 100 takes place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays through the end of January 2005. Donations of any size are always needed and will immediately be put to good use. To volunteer or donate, please call Joanne (759-9500 or jhenry@sbo-law.com) or the Habitat for Humanity Office (627-5626 or office@tpc-habitat.org). House number 101 is ready to start. Wouldn't you like to be a part of it!
